TREATMENTS & SERVICES

FIRST THERAPY VISIT - PLEASE BRING:

Your insurance card and photo ID.
Your prescription / script.
Your completed paperwork (CLICK HERE FOR FORMS).
Any information that you feel might be pertinent to your visit.

INITIAL EVALUATION

At your first visit, your therapist will evaluate your injury or condition. This gives the therapist a better idea of your strengths, weaknesses, and goals for the therapy sessions.

THERAPY SESSIONS

Following the initial evaluation, you will begin attending scheduled therapy sessions on a regular basis. Our therapists and aides will assist you through your exercise programs each time that you attend. Don’t hesitate to ask any questions that you may have about your progress or routine.

PERIODIC EVALUATIONS

Throughout your therapy, evaluations will be performed periodically to assess progress. This will ensure that you are healing properly and allow our therapists to see if there are any specific areas that need more attention.

DISCHARGE (RELEASE)

When you reach your therapy goal, both your therapist and doctor will release you from therapy.  You may receive recommendations for further exercises to be done on your own at home after you have been released.

FREE SPORTS INJURY EVALUATIONS

Saturday Mornings 8-10am, during football season, our office will be open for evaluations. During other sports seasons, please call Scott King (325) 646-9900, for an evaluation.

These evaluations are for all people of all ages, but were designed primarily with athletes in mind. Come see us if you are experiencing pain, swelling, or discomfort in any muscle or joint. Our athletic trainers and doctors will evaluate your injury and offer treatment options.

PRE-OPERATIVE PHYSICAL THERAPY

If you are referred from your physician for physical therapy, our experienced team of therapists will develop an exercise program specifically targeting your injury or problem. Physical therapy is highly beneficial for many patients prior to an operation, and is some cases delays or illuminates the need for surgery.

POST-OPERATIVE PHYSICAL THERAPY

After an operation, your doctor will refer you for physical therapy. This speeds up recovery as our therapists work to increase your strength and mobility. Therapists can provide information concerning both limitations and expectations during the course of the healing process.

ATHLETIC TRAINING AND SPORTS MEDICINE

In addition to working in our facility, our athletic training staff is available for on-site coverage at sporting events. At these events, our trainers provide immediate assessments of injuries when they occur. If you have questions concerning these services, please call Martin Caddell at (325) 676-5633 or Scott King at (325) 646-9900.
